Receivers Duties: Appointed to negotiate a settlement regarding outstanding debt with Regions Bank for a loan that was procured by the practice to purchase medical equipment for the practice. The Receiver was successful in negotiating a settlement in this regard. The Receiver was also appointed to manage the affairs of the practice in the event a deadlock occurred between its two members. One of the members left for cause and the Receiver oversaw the sale of the members interest and settlement of the same.
